Meghan & Steve for Tia Photography

As I mentioned before, I spent the last wedding season second shooting for Tia Photography. We shot so many beautiful weddings and I'd like to show a few of them over the next little while. I'm busy packing for a trip to England with my husband and son (We leave tomorrow! Yay!) so I may not be online as much for the next two weeks. Here is the first of the 2011 weddings:


Meghan and Steve were so perfect together. They have a long history of adventures and their friends and family described them as "meant to be". There were so many beautiful details in this wedding but one of my favorite things was Meghan's custom hand-painted shoes from Figgie Shoes which described their life together so far. Such a personal touch!

The wedding took place at Stanley's Olde Maple Lane Farms located just outside downtown Ottawa. This venue is not only gorgeous but has some of the best staff we've ever encountered! Everyone went out of their way to make everything perfect. And though the forecast called for a day of showers, not a single drop fell and it turned out to be a beautiful day with fantastic lighting!
